To make full use of this spreadsheet you will need a copy of the Player's Otherwise this should be the final version.ĭ&D 5e Character Library by Frank Wilcox, Jr (fewilcox) is licensed under aĬreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.ĭ&D 5e is © 2014 Wizards of the Coast. If there is demand and I have time I will rebuild it yet again to add an XP box. For now I am keeping that information in the "Character Background and Other Notes" box.

It was only after that process that I realized I had neglected to include a space for experience. The major addition is a "Mod" column for skills, giving space for the Rogue's Expertise and similar class features.UPDATE (v 1.1): Added box for character's background, personality, and any other non-mechanical notes.UPDATE (v 1.2): Rebuilt large sections to suit my artist's eye. If you do so, please send me a link I'm always interested in seeing how people actually use my creations.UPDATE : Added space for saving throw values and proficiences.UPDATE (v 1.0): Completely rebuilt.

I am also making a Google Docs version GMs can use to keep all of a campaign's characters in one place. The CC-BY-NC license means you are free to customize this according to your tastes and needs and give that version away (but not sell it) as long as you give me my due credit as shown on the first tab. Now you can keep all of your D&D 5e characters in one convenient place, while taking up less drive space and making them easier to transport via thumbdrive or upload.I am a huge fan of Burroughs' Tarzan books, so the sample character is my attempt at making him as a level 1 D&D character (as written he would probably have straight 18s, so it wasn't easy).Like all of my trpg tools, I created this in OpenOffice, but since it only has three simple formulas, and doesn't use any of OO Calc's features that MS Office lacks, it should work fine in any spreadsheet program.
